Obituary

Agnes M. (Burns) Cadogan, a longtime resident of Melrose, died on Saturday, April 10, 2010 at Wingate of East Longmeadow in East Longmeadow, Massachusetts, following a lengthy illness. She was 93 years old.

Agnes was born in Revere on August 9, 1916 to the late William and Margaret (Brennan) Burns. Agnes was a homemaker most of her adult life taking care of her family.

Agnes was the beloved wife of 62 years to the late John B. Cadogan. She is the devoted mother of Jack Cadogan and his wife Florence of Virginia and Marie Matulewicz and her husband Edward of East Longmeadow. She is the loving grandmother of 4 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend Agnes's Funeral Mass on Thursday, April 15, 2010, at 11 a.m. in The Most Blessed Sacrament Church, 1155 Main St., Wakefield. Burial will be at Holy Cross Cemetery, Malden.
