Obituary

Alberta W. (Crouch) Watson, a longtime resident of Charlestown, entered into eternal life on Saturday, November 4, 2017 at Everett Nursing & Rehabilitation in Everett. She was 92 years of age.

Alberta was born in Camden, New York on November 7, 1924, a daughter of the late Walter Crouch and Florence (Bruce) Crouch. She grew up in New York before moving to the Boston area where she was educated. Alberta worked in housekeeping for the Beacon Chambers Hotel in Boston for many years and also as a clerk for Mass. Casualty Insurance Company.

Alberta is the beloved wife of the late Glenn H. Watson. She is the devoted mother of David G. Watson. She is the beloved sister of the late Mildred Williams. She is also lovingly survived by several nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend visitation on Monday morning, November 13, 2017 at 8:15 A.M. in The Carr Funeral Home, 220 Bunker Hill St. Charlestown followed by her Committal Service at 10:30 A.M. at the Veterans Administration National Cemetery in Bourne.
