Obituary

Alvin H. "Al" Yahnian (ret. Det. Area "A" B.P.D.) of North Reading, formerly of Charlestown, died on February 19, 2007.

Al was the beloved husband of the late Mary (Tagen) Yahnian. He was the devoted father of Kevin Yahnian and his wife Kathy of Manchester, NH, Paul Yahnian of North Reading, Rosemary Yahnian of Haverhill and the late John Firzpatrick and Donna Spellman. Al is the loving grandfather of 12 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.

Al's Funeral will take place from the Carr Funeral Home, 220 Bunker Hill Street, Charlestown, on Thursday, February 22, 2007, at 9 a.m. followed by his Funeral Mass at 10:00 a.m. in St. Francis de Sales Church, 313 Bunker Hill Street, Charlestown. RElatives and friends are invited. Visiting hours for Al are on Wednesday, February 21, 2007, from 5 - 8 p.m. Interment will be held at Riverside Cemetery, No. Reading, MA.
