Obituary

Ann M (Butler) Morgan, a resident of South Boston for over 25 years and formerly of Charlestown, died on Monday, September 21, 2009, at Marian Manor Nursing Home in South Boston after an extended illness. She was 78 years old.

Ann was born in Boston and grew up in Charlestown, where she attended Boston Public Schools. Ann worked at Gillette Razor Company in South Boston for several years and retired about 10 years ago.

Ann is the beloved husband of the late Daniel H. Morgan. She is the devoted mother of Donna Elder and her fiance Allen Willess and Daniel J. Morgan all of South Boston. She is the loving grandmother of Captain Lindsey Dane U.S. Army deployed in Iraq and her husband Travis of Texas. She is the beloved sister of George Butler of Stoneham, Paul Butler of Wollaston and the late Dorothy Lynch, James and Walter Butler.

Ann's Funeral will be held on Thursday, September 24, 2009, at 9 a.m. from The Carr Funeral Home, 220 Bunker Hill Street, Charlestown, followed by her Funeral Mass in St. Mary's Church, 55 Warren Street, Charlestown, at 10 a.m. Relatives and friends are invited. Visiting hours are on Wednesday, September 23, 2009, from 3 to 7 p.m. Burial will be at Holy Cross Cemetery, Malden.
