Ann Marie (O'Neill) Harding, a longtime resident of Ashland and formerly of Charlestown, entered into eternal life on Wednesday, October 20, 2021 at the MetroWest Medical Center in Framingham.
Ann Marie was born in Boston on October 7, 1947, a daughter of the late Eugene A. O'Neill and Eleanor M. (Burns) O'Neill. Anne Marie worked for over 20 years as a supervisor of the storage room for the Massachusetts Correctional Institute - Framingham. She loved children, the old time Bruins, and taking trips to Disney World.
Ann Marie is the beloved wife of 50 years to John J. Harding. She is the devoted mother of John J. Harding and his wife Wendy, Michael Harding, David Harding, Annmarie Harding, and Kevin Harding and his wife Colette. She is the loving Nana of Sean, William, Rosemarie, Shannon, Katie, Meghan, Christopher, and Daniel. She is the beloved sister of Eleanor Collins and her late husband John, Mary O'Neill-Green, Rita Murphy and her husband Bill, and the late Robert O'Neill and his surviving wife Patricia, Gene O'Neill and his wife Peggy, Margaret Kent and her husband Joe, and Patricia Meeker and her husband Jack. She is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend Ann Marie's visiting hours on Monday morning October 25, 2021 from 9 A.M. to 10:30 A.M. in The Carr Funeral Home, 220 Bunker Hill St. Charlestown followed by her Funeral Mass in St. Mary's Church, 55 Warren Street. Charlestown at 11 A.M. Her burial will take place at Holy Cross Cemetery in Malden.
