Anna I. (Marshall) Noska, a lifelong resident of Charlestown, entered into eternal life on Thursday, November 7, 2019 at her home. She was 91 years of age.
Anna was born in Boston on July 3, 1928, a daughter of the late Edward Marshall and Mildred (Czekanski) Marshall. She grew up in Charlestown where she was educated in the Boston Public School system and graduated from Charlestown High School in 1945. Along with being a mother and wife, Anna worked as a receptionist at the Constitution Museum for 15 years.
Anna is the beloved wife of the late John Noska Jr., who passed away 7 years to the day from Anna. She is the devoted mother of John Noska and his wife Kathleen, Michael Noska and his late wife Susan, Robert Noska and his wife Heather, Ann Cullity, Claire Short and her husband Michael, and Janet Scanlan and her husband Joe. She is the loving Nana to 20 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren. She is the beloved sister of Alfred Marshall and the late Edward Marshall. She was the good friend of the late Hannah and Thomas "Dicka" DeRosa
Relatives and friends are invited to attend Anna's Funeral on Wednesday, November 13, 2019 at 10 a.m. from the Carr Funeral Home, 220 Bunker Hill St. Charlestown followed by her Funeral Mass in St. Francis De Sales Church, 313 Bunker Hill St. Charlestown at 11 a.m. Interment at Holy Cross Cemetery in Malden. Visiting hours will be on Tuesday, November 12, 2019 from 3 to 7 p.m. in the funeral home.
In lieu of flowers, kindly make a memorial donation in Anna's name to St. Francis De Sales Church Building Fund, 303 Bunker Hill St. Charlestown, MA 02129
