Anne M. Kavanagh, a resident of Stoneham and formerly of Charlestown, entered into eternal life on Thursday, April 23, 2026 at Masconomet Healthcare Center in Topsfield. She was 84 years of age.

Anne was born in Cambridge on February 5, 1942, a daughter of the late Walter J. Kavanagh and Marion E. (Hawkins) Kavanagh. She grew up in Charlestown where she attended St. Francis De Sales Parochial School and graduated from Cardinal Cushing High School in 1959. Anne worked many jobs but was most known for being "The Avon Lady", selling Avon cosmetics around Charlestown for over 25 years. She loved to travel, especially overseas to European countries and up to North Conway, NH. She was the Queen of shopping and a member of the Daughters of Isabella #1.

Anne is the devoted mother of Maryellen Russell and her husband Ken, David Arbuckle and his wife Jayne, and Thomas Arbuckle. She is the loving Nana of Keith, Michaela, Kimberly, Colin, Nolan, Ryan, Regan, Alli, and to her great-grandchildren Francis, Liam, Rory, Finn, Hayes, and Eloise. She is the dear sister of the late Walter Kavanagh, John Kavanagh, and Paul Kavanagh. She is also survived by her sister-in-law Paula Kavanagh, and many loving nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend Anne's visiting hours on Tuesday, April 28, 2026 from 10 to 12 P.M., followed by her Funeral Service at 12 P.M. in The Carr Funeral Home, 220 Bunker Hill St. Charlestown. Her burial will be at Calvary Cemetery in Winchester.
