Obituary

Annie B. (Critch) Cleary a 12 year resident of Providence, Rhode Island and former resident of South Yarmouth and Melrose died on Friday March 3, 2006 at Elmhurst Extended Care Center in Providence, Rhode Island following a long illness. She was 90 years old.

Annie was born in Cambridge, on June 2, 1915 and grew up in Winthrop, where she attended Winthrop Public Schools and graduated from Winthrop High School. She moved to Melrose and worked as a teller at the former Melrose Trust Co. in Melrose. She was a homemaker devoted to her family most of her life. She moved from Melrose in 1978 and resided in South Yarmouth and was member of the South Yarmouth Garden Club until 1994 when she moved to Providence, Rhode Island.

Annie was the beloved wife of the late Arthur W. Cleary. She is the devoted mother of Richard A. Cleary of Cumberland, Rhode Island, Robert J. Cleary of Canterbury, New Hampshire and Linda S. Smith of Melrose. She is the loving grandmother of 8 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren. She is the sister of Lillian Johnson of New York and the late James Critch.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend Annie's Funeral Service on Tuesday morning March 7, 2006 at 11:30 am. in the Carr Funeral Home 1159 Main St. Melrose. Burial will take place at Woodlawn Cemetery, Everett. There are no visiting hours.
