Obituary

Barbara Ann (Chambers) Lewis, a lifelong Charlestown resident, entered into eternal life on Thursday, August 6, 2015 at Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston following an unexpected illness. She was 72 years old.

Barbara was born in Boston on October 24, 1942, a daughter of the late James A. Chambers and Rita (Casaletto) Chambers. She grew up in Charlestown where she was educated in the Boston Public School system. Barbara was a homemaker most of her adult life.

Barbara is the devoted sister of Mildred McNeil, Daniel Chambers, Paul Chambers, Theresa Scalli and James Chambers. She is the loving aunt to Cheryl Lanigan, Jared Chambers and many other nieces and nephews. Dear longtime companion of the late Joseph Noe.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend Barbara's Funeral Mass on Saturday, August 15, 2015 at 10 A.M. in St. Francis De Sales Church, 313 Bunker Hill St. Charlestown. Burial is private. There are no funeral home visiting hours.
