Obituary

Brian E. Spitzer, a lifelong resident of Somerville, entered into eternal life on Sunday, March 9, 2014 at Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston following a brief illness. He was 42 years old.

Brian was born in Revere on September 28, 1971, a son of Irene T. Reeder and Edward L. Spitzer. Brian grew up in Somerville where he was educated in the Somerville Public School system and graduated from Somerville High School. Brian had been working as a laborer for a local construction company. He enjoyed playing hockey.

Brian is the beloved son of Irene T. Reeder and Edward L. Spitzer. He is the devoted brother of Danielle Prigmore and her husband James. He is the loving uncle to Liam Prigmore. He is the loving fiancé of Sandra Thornhill and step-father to Ca'Sandra and Van. He is the beloved grandson of George and Irene Reeder and Marvin and Eva Spitzer. He is also survived by many aunts, uncles and cousins.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend Brian's Funeral on Friday, March 14, 2014 at 9 A.M. from The Carr Funeral Home, 220 Bunker Hill St. Charlestown followed by his Funeral Mass in St. Benedict's Church, Hawthorn St. Somerville at 10 A.M. Interment at Holy Cross Cemetery in Malden. Visiting hours will be on Thursday, March 13, 2014 from 4 to 8 P.M. in the funeral home.
