Obituary

Carol was called back to God on Thursday August 28, 2025.

She lived a full, rich life that included acts of service, devotion & kindness. Her faith was one of the most important things in her life, alongside her family. She had a comic spirit, loved dance, theater, art, music & travel. She was raised in Quincy, where she held strong ties to both her community and to her dearest friends of almost 75 years- both of which she held incredible pride for.

Carol is part of a large, loving family who grieve her loss- daughter of the late Assunta (Giusti) MacLean & Hubert MacLean. Sister of Doug MacLean, Arleen Derbes, Sharon MacLean, Lois Roark and the late Lorraine Jones & Ken MacLean. Beloved cat mom to Cookie, cousin, Aunt, great aunt, godmother and friend to countless loved ones. She is lovingly remembered by her former husband James Lewis & extended family.
She is most deeply missed by her children, to whom she was completely devoted -her son, the late Kenneth Lewis, her daughter, Jamie Lewis & her much loved son in law Ed Mazurkiewicz.
Her beautiful smile will never be forgotten by anyone who knew her.

Services will be private and condolences are gratefully & respectfully accepted.
