Obituary

Carol A. O'Brien, a lifelong resident of Charlestown, entered into eternal life on Friday, December 28, 2018 at her home in Charlestown. She was 80 years of age.

Carol was born in Boston on June 7, 1938, a daughter of the late Gerald T. O'Brien and Catherine V. (Hayes) O'Brien. She grew up in Charlestown where she was educated in St. Mary's Parochial School and graduated from Julie Billiart High School in the North End of Boston. Carol worked as a Supervisor for the Commonwealth of Massachusetts for 35 years until her retirement.

Carol is the beloved daughter of the late Gerald T. O'Brien and Catherine V. (Hayes) O'Brien. She is the loving sister of Paul O'Brien and his wife Carol of Malden, Frederic "Buster" O'Brien and his wife Patricia of Mashpee, and the late Gerald O'Brien Jr. and Robert O'Brien. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Carol's Funeral Services were private.
