Obituary

Charles M. Broderick, a longtime Charlestown resident, died on Monday March 17, 2008 at Whidden Hospital in Everett after a lengthy illness. He was 79 years old.

Charles was born in Milford on August 22, 1928. He grew up in Milford where he attended St. Mary's School and graduated from St. Mary's High School in 1946. He worked for over 37 years for the Veterans Administration driving and transporting. He was a member of the Beachmont V.F.W. Post.

Charles is the beloved husband of Margaret E. (McGagh) Broderick. He is the devoted father of Martin D. Broderick of Charlestown and the late Daniel S. Broderick. He is the beloved brother of Catherine Long of Milford. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend visiting hours on Monday March 24, 2008 from 3 to 7 p.m. with a Funeral Service at 6 p.m. Cremation will take place on Tuesday.
