Obituary

Beverly, MA- Cheryl O'Hara, 68, of Beverly, MA passed away peacefully in her sleep in the early hours of August 23, 2022 at her home. Cheryl was the daughter of the late William O'Hara and Elaine Porter and sister of the late Charlie O'Hara.

Cheryl moved to Beverly, MA in May of 1993 where she shared a home with three wonderful women she considered sisters.

Cheryl leaves behind Mike Cavanaugh, a dedicated life-long family friend. Cheryl will be deeply missed by all her friends and staff at the Northeast Arc.

Cheryl was a woman of faith, she was immersed in her Irish culture and loved to travel. Cheryl was always ready for her next great adventure.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend Cheryl's visiting hour on Monday morning August 29, 2022 from 10 A.M. to 11 A.M. in St. Mary Star of the Sea Catholic Church, 253 Cabot St. Beverly, MA 01915 followed by her Funeral Mass at 11 A.M. Her burial will take place at Riverside Cemetery in Saugus.
