Obituary

Ciaran J. Dillon, a resident of Charlestown and formerly of Winthrop, entered into eternal life suddenly on Monday, October 28, 2019. He was 21 years of age.

Ciaran was born in Melrose on March 4, 1998, a son of Juia (Hormann) Dillon and the late John Dillon Jr. He grew up in Winthrop where he was educated in the Winthrop Public School system and graduated from high school. Ciaran enjoyed playing hockey and football while growing up, as well as skateboarding.

Ciaran is the beloved son of Julia (Hormann) Dillon and the late John Dillon Jr. He is the loving brother of Ian Dillon. He is the beloved grandson of John M. Dillon, Eileen (Murray) Dillon, and Birgit Hormann. He is also survived by many loving aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend Ciaran' s Funeral on Tuesday, November 5, 2019 at 9 A.M. from The Carr Funeral Home, 220 Bunker Hill St. Charlestown followed by his Funeral Mass in St. Francis De Sales Church, 313 Bunker Hill St. Charlestown at 10 A.M. His burial will be at Holy Cross Cemetery in Malden. His visiting hours will be on Monday, November 4, 2019 from 4 to 8 P.M. in the funeral home.
