Obituary

Daniel J. "Danny" Martin, a lifelong resident of Charlestown, entered into eternal life on Wednesday, April 12, 2017 at the Don Orion Home in East Boston. He was 48 years of age.

Danny was born in Boston on January 27, 1969, a son of Leo Martin and the late Ann M. (Crilley) Martin. He grew up in Charlestown where he attended St. Francis De Sales Parochial School and graduated Christopher Columbus High School in 1988.

Danny is the beloved son of retired Boston Firefighter Leo Martin and the late Ann M. (Crilley) Martin. He is the devoted brother of Jack Martin and his wife Anne, Tom Martin and his wife Una, and Annmarie D'Angelo and her husband Jon. He is the loving uncle of Haley, Joseph, Hannah, and Matthew.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend Danny's Funeral on Tuesday, April 18, 2017 at 9 A.M. from The Carr Funeral Home, 220 Bunker Hill St. Charlestown followed by his Funeral Mass in St. Francis De Sales Church, 313 Bunker Hill St. Charlestown at 10 A.M. His burial will be private. His visiting hours will be on Monday, April 17, 2017 from 4 to 8 P.M. in the funeral home.
