Obituary

Daniel J. Gorman, a lifelong resident of Charlestown, entered into eternal life on Friday, May 24, 2013 at Eastpointe Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Chelsea following a lengthy illness. He was 88 years old.

Daniel was born in Boston on September 8, 1924, a son of the late Charles Gorman and Sarah (Doherty) Gorman. He grew up in Charlestown where he attended the Boston Public School system. Dan worked as a Lab Technician for a photo laboratory for many years.

Daniel is the devoted brother of Catherine Gorman of Charlestown.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend Daniel's visiting hours on Wednesday morning, May 29, 2013 from 9 to 10 A.M. in The Carr Funeral Home, 220 Bunker Hill St. Charlestown followed by his Funeral Mass in St. Mary's Church, 55 Warren St. Charlestown at 10:30 A.M. Interment at Holy Cross Cemetery, Malden.
