Daniel "Sonny" M. Bruno, a resident of Tewksbury and formerly of Woburn and Arlington.

Daniel Michael Bruno, devoted brother, husband, father, grand-father and great-grand-father died Sunday, July 19, 2026 at the age of 92. Dan died peacefully surrounded by his family. Dan was born January 7, 1934 in East Boston. He graduated from Arlington High School. He was a lifelong master picture framer. He ran the family business of Dunn-Bruno Inc. located on Pearl Street in Boston. Dan met his wife Theresa A. Healy and they married in 1958 and were happily married for 45 years until her passing in 2004. Together they raised 3 children in Woburn.

Dan was predeceased by his parents Daniel A. Bruno and Pauline E. (Musto) and sister Elizabeth T. Mattaliano of Arlington. Remaining to cherish his memory are his sister Lorraine A. Pandolfino of Shrewsbury, sister Barbara M. Henson of Medford, and brother Thomas A. Bruno of Boxborough, son Daniel J. Bruno of Woburn, daughter Laura A. Webb and her husband David B. Webb of Old Orchard Beach, ME, and son Gregory C. Bruno of Medford. He was the proud grand-father of 3 grandchildren and 6 great grand-children and was affectionately known as "Fifi" and "Papa", titles he held with immense pride, and was dearly loved by many nieces and nephews. Dan proudly served in the Massachusetts National Guard. He enjoyed long walks with family members and friends, he enjoyed playing his guitar and was a fan of Dean Martin and other traditional singers. Dan also took an active interest with the Tewksbury Senior Center joining their choral group to visit various senior facilities bringing a smile to many residents. His kindness and his unwavering love for his family made an indelible impact on all who knew him. His memory will be treasured deeply by his family, friends, and all who were blessed to cross his path.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend Dan's Funeral Mass on Thursday, July 30 at 10:00 AM at Saint Barbara's Church, 138 Cambridge Road, Woburn MA. After the Mass, a celebration of life gathering will be held at The Woburn Country Club, 5 Country Club Rd. Woburn MA. His burial will be private.
