Obituary

Daniel "Danny" McDonough, a resident of South Boston and formerly of Charlestown, entered into eternal life on Thursday, July 15, 2021 at Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston. He was 76 years of age.

Danny was born in Boston on July 7, 1945, a son of the late Daniel McDonough and Ruth C. (Forbes) McDonough. He grew up in Charlestown where he was educated throughout the Boston Public School system. Danny was a former Longshoreman who worked on the Boston waterfront for several years and also obtained his Barbers license. He enjoyed playing the guitar, listening to Irish music and was very proud of his Irish heritage.

Danny is the beloved brother of Karen McDonough and the late Mary Simon, Monica Auch, Sonny McDonough, Bobby McDonough, Jimmy McDonough and Tommy McDonough. He is also survived by his many loving nieces and nephews.

Danny's Funeral Services and burial will be private.
