Obituary

Denis E. Desmond, a resident of Chelsea and formerly of Charlestown, entered into eternal life on Wednesday, April 1, 2015 at the Whidden Hospital in Everett following an extended illness. He was 64 years old.

Denis was born in Everett on September 13, 1950, a son of John J. Desmond and Madge (Donaghy) Desmond. He grew up in Charlestown where he was educated in the Boston Public School system and graduated from Boston College High School in 1968. He then received his Bachelor of Science Degree from Boston University in 1972. Denis has worked several jobs as a laborer around the surrounding communities of Boston.

Denis is the beloved son of Madge (Donaghy) Desmond of Charlestown and the late John J. Desmond. He is the devoted brother of Madge Desmond of Carlisle, Linda Buhay and her husband Walter of Charlestown and the late John J. Desmond Jr. He is the loving uncle to Danny Buhay and Timmy Buhay.

Denis's Funeral Services and burial will be private.
