Obituary

Donald E. Gilgunn, a resident of the Dimock Program in Hyde Park and formerly of Charlestown, entered into eternal life on Friday, May 22, 2020 at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center in Boston. He was 65 years of age.

Donald was born in Boston on June 17, 1954, a son of the late Thomas F. Gilgunn and Catherine (Harrington) Gilgunn. He grew up in Charlestown where he was educated throughout the Boston Public School system. Donald enjoyed listening to his classic rock music but also found great enjoyment whenever he was able to spend quality time with his nieces and nephews.

Donald is the beloved son of the late Thomas F. Gilgunn and Catherine (Harrington) Gilgunn. He is the devoted brother of Ann Ventola and her husband Gerard, Thomas F. "Tim" Gilgunn Jr., Joan "Nellie" Gilgunn and the late Carol Bell. He is also survived by his many loving nieces and nephews.
