Obituary

Donald D. Plunkett, a lifelong Somerville resident, died suddenly on Saturday, April 15, 2006, at Somerville Hospital. He was 45 years old.

Donald was born in Somerville. He attended Somerville Public Grammar Schools and graduated Don Bosco High School in Boston in 1978. He worked in the printing industry for several printing companies. Most recently, he worked at Bunker Hill Community College.

Donald is the beloved father of Joanne Plunkett of Medford and Donald D. Plunkett, Jr., of Dorchester. He is the devoted son of Joseph T. and Doris (Maine) Plunkett of Somerville. He is the beloved brother of Edward J. Plunkett of Somerville.

Donald's Funeral will be held on Wednesday, April 19, 2006, from the Carr Funeral Home, 220 Bunker Hill Street, Charlestown, at 9:00 a.m. followed by his Funeral Mass in St. Benedict's Church, Somerville, at 10:00 a.m. Relatives and friends are invited. Visiting Hours for Donald will be held on Tuesday, April 18, 2006, from 4 - 8 p.m. Burial will take place at Woodlawn Cemetery, Everett.
