Obituary

Elizabeth G. "Betty" McCabe of Charlestown, formerly of Medford, died on Friday, December 22, 2006, at Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston. She was 83.

Elizabeth was born and raised in Charlestown. She moved to Medford where she lived for several years and then returned to live in Charlestown. Elizabeth worked for Millipore Corp. for thirty-five years as a clerk/secretary retiring in 1985.

Elizabeth is the beloved daughter of the late Mary (Joyce) and Daniel D. O'Leary. She is the devoted sister of the late Michael "Joe" O'Leary. Elizabeth is the dear friend of Joe and Reggie Reynolds of Medford.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend visiting hours for Elizabeth on Thursday morning, December 28, 2006, from 9:30 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. at the Carr Funeral Home, 220 Bunker Hill Street, Charlestown, followed by her Funeral Mass at 11:00 a.m. in St. Mary's Church, 55 Warren Street, Charlestown. Interment will be private.
