Obituary

Elmer L. Ross Jr., a 14 year resident of Malden and a former 40 year resident of Charlestown, entered into eternal life on Tuesday, November 20, 2018 at the Courtyard Nursing Care Center in Medford. He was 80 years of age.

Elmer was born in Davenport, Iowa on March 27, 1938, a son of the late Elmer L. Ross and Gertrude (Deffenbaugh) Ross. He grew up in Davenport, Iowa where he was educated and graduated high school there. Elmer enlisted into the United States Marine Corps on April 19, 1955 and served his country faithfully and with pride. He was honorably discharged on April 1, 1959 with the rank of Lance Corporal. Elmer worked as a Supervisor for Ionics Company in Watertown for several years.

Elmer is the beloved husband of Geraldine A. (Bath) Ross. He is the devoted father of Christine Chauvette and her husband Michael. He is the loving Grandfather to Alicia Ross, Brianna Anzalone, Caila Anzalone and his great-granddaughter Madison Girardin. He is also survived by his many loving nieces and nephews.

Elmer's Funeral Services and burial will be private.
