Obituary

Evelyn S. (Donovan) Cali a 40 year resident of Charlestown, and former resident of Somerville, died at her home in Charlestown on Christmas morning December 25, 2005 following a lengthy illness. She was 75 years old.

Evelyn was born in Boston, and grew up in Somerville, where she attended Somerville Public Schools and graduated from Somerville High School. She later attended Bunker Hill Community College in Charlestown, Where she recieved an Associates Degree in Graphic Arts and Design. She worked several years as an independent illustrator in the field of graphic arts.

She is the beloved wife of the late Anthony Cali. She is the devoted mother of Sheila, Rick, Frank, Sandy, Linda, and the late Ralph and Tony. She is the loving grandmother of Rick, Kris, Mike, Sammy, April, Paul, Danielle, Maria, Sheila and great-grandmother of Jadon, Jersie, Julianna and Emily. Dear friend of Donald Fessenden.

Evelyn's Funeral will be held on Friday December 30, 2005 from the Frank H. Carr Funeral Home 220 Bunker Hill St. Charlestown at 9 am. followed by her Funeral Mass in St. Catherine's Church 49 Vine St. Charlestown at 10 am. Relatives and friends are invited. Visiting hours for Evelyn will be held on Thursday December 29, 2005 from 4 to 8 pm. Cremation will take place following Evelyn's Funeral Mass.
