Obituary

Florence E. (Dunbar) Tognarelli, a lifelong resident of Charlestown, entered into eternal life on Thursday, December 8, 2022 at Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston. She was 85 years of age.

Florence was born in Boston on February 2, 1937, a daughter of the late Henry Dunbar and Florence C. (Laville) Dunbar.

Florence is the beloved wife of the late Mario Tognarelli. She is the devoted mother of the late Michael R. Tognarelli and Joseph A. Tognarelli. She is the beloved sister of Ralph Dunbar and his late wife Virginia and the late Virginia Gleeson, Gertrude Secola and Catherine Slowe. She is also survived by several loving nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend Florence's visiting hour on Friday morning, December 16, 2022 from 10:30 A.M. to 11:30 A.M. in The Carr Funeral Home, 220 Bunker Hill St. Charlestown followed by her Funeral Mass in St. Francis De Sales Church, 313 Bunker Hill St. Charlestown at 12 Noon. Her burial will take place at Holy Cross Cemetery in Malden.
