George T. Mullan, a resident of Cape Coral, Florida and former longtime resident of Charlestown, died on Wednesday July 22, 2009 at his daughters home in North Reading following a courageous battle with cancer.
George was a retired manager and 37 year employee of H.P. Hood Milk Company.
George is the beloved husband of Mary Teresa (Connolly) Mullan. He is the devoted father of Elizabeth LaTerz and her husband J. Michael of Charlestown, George G. Mullan of Belmont, Tracy Waterhouse and her husband William of North Reading, Judith Walsh and her husband Norbert of Weymouth and the late Marjorie Castano and her surviving husband Tony of Brockton. He is the loving grandfather of Margaret, Thomas and James Walsh, Wesley, Mitchell and Aubreigh Waterhouse, Conneely and Mary Teresa Mullan. He is the beloved son of the late Michael and Elizabeth Mullan. He is the devoted brother of William Mullan, Margaret Kirk and the late Michael and John Mullan. He is also the loving uncle of several nieces and nephews.
Relatives and friends are invited to gather at The Carr Funeral Home, 220 Bunker Hill St. Charlestown on Saturday July 25, 2009 at 10:30 a.m. with a funeral procession to St. Francis De Sales Church, 313 Bunker Hill St. Charlestown for George's Funeral Mass at 11 a.m. Burial will take place at a later date. There are no visiting hours.
Memorial donations in George's name maybe made to a charity of your choice.
