Obituary

CMSGT George M. Page, USAF, (Ret) age 90, passed away on (Sunday 7/5/2026) in San Antonio, Texas. George was born in Charlestown, Massachusetts on 7 December 1935. He graduated from Charlestown High School where he excelled in football as team captain, was Class President and attained the grade of Brigadier General in the Boston high school ROTC program. George served proudly for 26 years in the USAF, the majority of which was as a member of the USAF Security Service. His overseas assignments included two tours in Japan, two tours in Scotland, and tours in Crete and Thailand. It was during his first tour in Scotland during the period 1955-1959 that he met and married his wife Pauline. After retirement from the USAF, George entered civil service at Brooks AFB, later Brooks City-Base at the USAF School of Aerospace Medicine, Armstrong Laboratory and the Air Force Research Laboratory. His awards include the Meritorious Service Medal, Joint Service Commendation Medal, four Air Force Commendation Medals and the Air Force Outstanding Civilian Career Service Award which is similar to the military Legion of Merit. He was preceded in death by his parents, Ralph M. and Ida M. Page and sister Barbara Keane. He is survived by his wife of 68 years, Pauline Mochrie Page, Brother Arthur E. Page, son Jeffrey E. Page, daughter Pauline Allen, daughter-in-law, Yvonne de la Fuente Page, son-in-law, Darrell Allen and granddaughters, Shelby Rice and Emily Page.
