Obituary

George E. Reeder Jr., a lifelong resident of Charlestown, entered into eternal life on Saturday, February 1, 2025, at The North End Nursing Home in Boston. He was 75 years of age.

George was born in Cambridge on May 8, 1949, a son of the late George E. Reeder and Irene T. (McGonagle) Reeder. He grew up in Charlestown where he was educated in the Boston Public School system and graduated from Charlestown High School in 1967. George worked for many years as a laborer for an electric company.

George is the devoted brother of Irene and her husband Paul, Mary, Richard and his wife Lisa and the late John, Rhonda and David. He is also survived by his many loving nieces and nephews.

George's Funeral Services and burial will be private.
