Obituary

Georgette E. Burns, a longtime resident of Charlestown, entered into eternal life on, Saturday, November 2, 2019 at the Massachusetts General Hospital. She was 52 years of age.

Georgette was Born in Boston on May 15, 1967, a daughter of the late Joseph H. Burns and June A. Tondreau. She lived in Woburn for the start of her life before her family moved to Charlestown where she grew up and was educated. Georgette worked as a Home Health Aid for Intercity for 10 years along with taking care of her beloved family.

Georgette is the beloved wife of 39 years to Walter Dacey. She is the devoted mother to Amy Dacey and Richard Burns-Dacey. She is the loving Nana to Danielle, Christian, Jessica, and Emma. She is the sister of Denise, Marie, Paul, Diane, Tracy, Tammy, Todd, and the late Leonard and Sue-Ellen.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend Georgette's visiting hours on Thursday, November 7, 2019 from 4 to 8 P.M. with her Funeral Service at 7:30 P.M. in the funeral home.
