Obituary

Georgina A. (Heffernan) Lenzi, a lifelong resident of Charlestown, died on Wednesday, January 31, 2007 at Youville Hospital in Cambridge after a lenghty illness. She was 65 years old.

Georgina was born in her family home in Charlestown on June 8, 1941. She has lived he entire life in Charlestown and attended Boston Public Schools. Georgina has been a homemaker, she enjoyed playing bingo whenever she had the oppurtunity. She loved her family and many close friends.

Georgina is the beloved wife of the late Domenic J. Lenzi. She is the devoted mother of Domenic J. Lenzi Jr. of Malden, JeanMarie Curry and her husband Derek and Nancy Lenzi all of Charlestown. She is the loving grandmother of 5 grandchildren. She is the beloved sister of Margaret Gorrell and Rose King both of Charlestown, Mary "FeFe" Goodrich of Maine and Catherine Heffernan of Charlestown. She is the loving aunt of many nieces and nephews.

Georgina's Funeral will be held on Monday February 5, 2007 at 9 a.m. from the Carr Funeral Home 220 Bunker Hill St. Charlestown, followed by her Funeral Mass in St. Francis De Sales Church 313 Bunker Hill St. Charlestown at 10 a.m. Relatives and friends are invited. Visiting hours for Georgina will be held on Sunday February 4, 2007 from 1 to 5 p.m. Burial will take place in Holy Cross Cemetery, Malden.
