Obituary

Gertrude DeRoche, a resident of The Zelma Lacey House in Charlestown, passed into eternal life on Monday, May 21, 2012 at Neville Center at Fresh Pond in Cambridge after a lengthy illness. She was 92 years old.

Gertrude was born in Boston on January 28, 1920, a daughter of the late Henry and Anna DeRoche. Gertrude grew up in Boston where she attended the Boston Public School system before recieving her nursing degree.

Gertrude dedicated her life as a nurse at both the Holy Ghost Hospital in Boston and The Massachusetts Eye & Ear Hospital in Boston.

Gertrude's Funeral Services and burial were held privately.
