Obituary

Grace A. Meehan a lifelong resident of Charlestown died on Friday October 28, 2005 at the North End Nursing Home in Boston following a long illness. She was 79 years old.

Grace was born in Boston and attended Boston Public Schools. She worked as a secretary for many years for a local insurance company.

Grace was the daughter of the late John F. and Lena (Sweeney) Meehan. She is the dear friend of Julianna and Frank McCormick of Charlestown. She is also the loving God Mother of Patricia (Hamano) Boyland.

Grace's visiting hours will be held on Wednesday morning November 2, 2005 from 8:30 to 9:30 am in the Frank H. Carr Funeral Home 220 Bunker Hill St. Charlestown followed by her Funeral Mass in St. Mary's Church 55 Warren St. Charlestown at 10 am. Relatives and friends are invited. Burial will take place at Old Calvary Cemetery, Roslindale, Ma.
