Obituary

Helen P. "Honey" (Monagle) McCreevan, a lifelong resident of Charlestown, passed away into eternal life on Saturday, February 18, 2012 at Hearthstone Assisted Living Facility in Woburn following a lengthy illness. She was 76 years old.

Honey was born in Boston on June 29, 1935 to the late John and Cecelia (McColgan) Monagle. She grew up in Charlestown and attended school there. Honey was involved in many activities in Charlestown during the years when her daughters were growing up. She was a homemaker who dedicated herself to her husband and 2 daughters.

Honey is the beloved wife of the late John J. "Mac" McCreevan. She is the devoted mother of Donna Hickey and her husband Thomas of Charlestown and Deborah McCreevan of Charlestown. She is the loving Grandmother to Ryan and Kaleigh Hickey both of Charlestown. She is the beloved sister of Julie Murphy and her husband Daniel of Wilmington, Mary Powers and her late husband Richard of Wareham and the late John Monagle. She is the loving aunt of many nieces and nephews.

Honey's Funeral Services and burial will be strictly private.
