Obituary

James M. "Jimmy" Brown, a 13 year resident of Malden and former longtime resident of Charlestown, entered into eternal life on Thursday, February 8, 2018 at Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston. He was 58 years of age.

Jimmy was born in Boston on August 27, 1959, a son of the late June M. (Long) Brown- Carbonello and Fred E. Brown and step-son of the late Peter Carbonello. He grew up in Charlestown where he was educated in the Boston Public School system. Jimmy worked maintenance for several years at the Charles New Towne Housing Development in Charlestown. Jimmy's passion in life was his family and he appreciated the quality times he was able to spend with each one of them.

Jimmy is the beloved husband of 27 years to Juleanna (Lucas) Brown. He is the devoted father of Jimmy Saccardo, Jason Brown, Jessica Brown, June Brown and Jonathan Brown. He is the loving Papa to James, Colin, Zachary, Dylan, Brayden, Jayden, Bentley and Jayla. He is the beloved brother of Maryann Deveau, Cheryl Scadding and the late William Brown. He is the devoted lifelong friend of Jimmy Chambers. Also several loving nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend Jimmy's visiting hours on Wednesday, February 14, 2018 from 3 to 7 P.M. with his Funeral Service at 6:30 P.M. in The Carr Funeral Home, 220 Bunker Hill St. Charlestown. His burial will be private.
