Obituary

James T. O'Donnell, a lifelong resident of Charlestown, entered into eternal life on Tuesday, August 27, 2013 at The Courtyard Nursing Home in Medford following a lengthy illness. He was 75 years old.

Jim was born in Boston on September 11, 1937, a son of the late John F. O'Donnell and Anna (Crogan) O'Donnell. He grew up in Charlestown where he was educated in the Boston Public School system and graduated from Charlestown High School in 1954. Jim served his country with honor and dignity in the United States Army. He worked for many years as a laborer for several leather companies.

Jim is the beloved son of the late John F. O'Donnell and Anna (Crogan) O'Donnell. He is the devoted brother of John O'Donnell and his wife Dorothy of Malden, Dorothy Egan and her husband Daniel of Charlestown, Evelyn Collier and her husband Robert of Charlestown, Catherine Heeter and her husband Thomas of Malden and the late Ann Yandle, Grace Stella, Mary O'Halloran and Joseph O'Donnell. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Jim's Funeral Services and burial at Woodlawn Cemetery in Everett will be private.
