Obituary

James "Jimmy" Whitlock, a lifelong resident of Charlestown, entered into eternal life peacefully in his sleep on Saturday, November 16, 2019. He was 61 years of age.

Jimmy was born in Boston on July 2, 1958, a son of Francis J. "Bo" Whitlock and the late Patricia (O'Brien) Whitlock. He grew up in Charlestown where he attended St. Francis De Sales Parochial School and graduated from Charlestown High School. Jimmy worked as a customer service representative for Maytag repair service. He was a longtime member of the American Radio Relay League(ARRL). He was very knowledgeable with computers, electrical, and plumbing.

Jimmy is the devoted son of Francis J "Bo" Whitlock and the late Patricia (O'Brien) Whitlock. He is the loving twin brother of Joseph Whitlock and beloved brother of Patricia Williams and her husband Timothy, and John Whitlock and his wife Christine. He is the loving uncle of Kyle, Amanda, Nolan, Morgan, and Sara. He is also survived by many loving aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend Jimmy's Funeral Mass on Friday, November 22, 2019 at 11 A.M. in the St. Francis De Sales Church, 313 Bunker Hill St. Charlestown. His burial is private. There are no funeral home visiting hours. Condolences may be paid to the family prior to the Mass.

The church will not accept any flowers.
