Obituary

Jessica G. (Brennan) Penttinen, a resident of Phoenix, Arizona for the last 7 years and formerly of Charlestown, died suddenly at her home in Phoenix on Sunday, March 16, 2008. She was 29 years old.

Jessica was born in Boston on June 30, 1978. She grew up in Charlestown where she attended Boston Public Schools, The Clarence R. Edwards Middle School and graduated from The Snowden International School in Copley Square in 1996. Jessica enjoyed going to The Charlestown Boys & Girls Club and also working at her family business, Grant Photo & Design in Charlestown.

Jessica is the beloved wife of Scottsdale, Arizona, Police Officer Neil R. Penttinen. She is the devoted & loving mother to 8 year old Jacob R. and 4 year old Sarah G. Penttinen. She is the best friend and adored daughter of Diane Grant and David Lynch of Charlestown and Richard M. Brennan of Melrose. She is the beloved sister of R. Zachary Brennan of East Boston. She is the beloved grandaughter of Gertrude M. Grant of Charlestown, the late Arthur L. Grant, Norman and Rita Brennan. She is the beloved daughter-in-law of Marge Penttinen of South Yarmouth and Leo Penttinen of Gardner. She is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Relatives and friends are invited to pay their respects on Saturday, March 22, 2008, from 2 to 6 p.m. in The Carr Funeral Home, 220 Bunker Hill Street, Charlestown. Jessica's Memorial Funeral Mass and cremation took place in Arizona.
