Obituary

Joan T. Lightizer, a beloved aunt and sister, passed away peacefully on Saturday, October 19, 2024, at the age of 91. She was born in Charlestown, Massachusetts, she was living in San Diego, California and previously resided in Rindge, New Hampshire.

Beloved daughter of the late William Lightizer and Mildred (Driscoll) Lightizer. She is the devoted sister of the late Doris Lightizer, Lois Lightizer, Evelyn Christian and Eileen Phillips. She is survived by her youngest sister, Donna DeCrescenzo of San Diego, California. She is the loving aunt of Cathy Petillo of North Andover, Laura DeCrescenzo of San Diego, California, Michelle Esposito of San Diego, California and Kimberly DeCrescenzo of Johns Island, South Carolina. She doted on her loving grandnieces Jenny Peavey, Stephanie Petillo, Tessa DeCrescenzo and Jacela DeCrescenzo.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend Joan's Funeral on TUESDAY, NOVEMBER 12, 2024, at 9 A.M. from The Carr Funeral Home, 220 Bunker Hill St. Charlestown followed by her Funeral Mass in St. Francis De Sales Church, 313 Bunker Hill St. Charlestown at 10 A.M. Her burial will take place at Holy Cross Cemetery in Malden.
