Obituary

John P. Canny, a lifelong resident of Charlestown, died on Sunday February 18, 2007 at Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston following a brief illness.

John is the beloved son of the late Patrick and Mary (Canny) Canny. He is the loving cousin of Madge Desmond and Linda Buhay both of Charlestown. He is the beloved uncle of Timmy and Danny Buhay both of Charlestown.

John's Funeral will be held on Friday February 23, 2007 at 9 a.m. from the Carr Funeral Home 220 Bunker Hill St. Charlestown followed by his Funeral Mass in St. Mary's Church 55 Warren St. Charlestown at 10 a.m. Relatives and friends are invited. Visiting hours for John will held on Thursday February 22, 2007 from 4 to 7 p.m. Burial will take place at Holy Cross Cemetery, Malden.
