John M. "Jack" Devlin Jr., a resident of Telford, Pennsylvania and formerly of Charlestown, entered into eternal life on Thursday, September 11, 2025, at St. Luke's Hospital in Sellersville, Pennsylvania. He was 66 years of age.
Jack was born in Somerville on October 7, 1958, a son of the late John M. Devlin and Mary R. (McGeoghegan) Devlin. He grew up in Charlestown where he was educated at St. Mary's Parochial School and graduated from Charlestown High School in 1976. Jack worked as laborer for the Boston Water & Sewer Commission and retired following many years of serving the City of Boston.
Jack is the beloved son of the late John M. Devlin and Mary R. (McGeoghegan) Devlin. He is the devoted brother of Daniel P. "Lefty" Devlin and his wife Donna and the late Kathleen A. Devlin. He is the loving uncle to Denise Devlin and her husband Timothy Dacey, Daniel Devlin and his wife Joyce, Boston Fire Department Chief Dennis Devlin and Judy Centola and his grandnieces and grandnephews, Skylar, Kali, Patrick and Brogan.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend Jack's visiting hours on Friday morning, September 19, 2025, from 9 A.M. to 11 A.M. in The Carr Funeral Home, 220 Bunker Hill St. Charlestown followed by his Funeral Mass in St. Mary's Church, 55 Warren St. Charlestown at 11:30 A.M. His burial will take place at Holy Cross Cemetery in Malden.
