Obituary

John G. MacInnes, a lifelong resident of Charlestown, entered into eternal life on Tuesday, April 21, 2020 at the Advocate Healthcare of East Boston (Don Orione Home). He was 64 years of age.

John was born in Boston on April 2, 1956, a son of the late Mary E. (Carroll) MacInnes and John D. MacInnes. He grew up in Charlestown where he was educated at St. Francis De Sales Parochial School and graduated from Malden Catholic High School. John was passionate about music, especially disco and was a lifelong Red Sox fan.

John leaves behind his seven siblings, Patrick of Somerville, Patricia of Medford, David of Portland, Maine, Elizabeth of Medford, Catherine of Revere, Richard of Cambridge and Danny of East Boston. He is the loving uncle to Patricia Kiely, Shannyn Moore, Meaghann Moore, Maria Carmona and the late Stephanie Moore and Elizabeth Carmona.
