Obituary

Joseph H. DiFrummolo, a longtime resident of Charlestown, died on Sunday, October 17, 2010 at Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston following an extended illness.

Joseph was a retired member of Local # 615, S.E.I.U.

Joseph is the beloved husband of the late Lillian (Desmond) DiFrummolo. He is the devoted father of Joyce A. Driscoll of Charlestown and Robert J. DiFrummolo and his wife Yvette of Charlestown. He is the loving grandfather of Robert, Janelle and Justin DiFrummolo and the late Sean Patrick Driscoll. He is the great-grandfather of Sean Patrick DiFrummolo, Liam and Chloe DiFrummolo. He is the beloved brother of Angelo DiFrummolo of the North End and the late Vincent DiFrummolo and Virginia Pierce.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend Joseph's Funeral on Wednesday, October 20, 2010 at 9 a.m. from The Carr Funeral Home, 220 Bunker Hill St. Charlestown followed by his Funeral Mass in St. Mary's Church, 55 Warren St. Charlestown at 10 a.m. Interment Holy Cross Cemetery, Malden. Visiting hours are on Tuesday, October 19, 2010 from 3 to 7 p.m.
