Obituary

Joseph "Joe" Houlihan, a lifelong resident of Charlestown, entered into eternal life on Sunday, Fathers Day, June 20, 2021 at his home. He was 67 years of age.

Joe was born in Boston on July 14, 1953, a son of the late John E. Houlihan and Florence C. "Flossie" (Coffey) Houlihan. He grew up in Charlestown where he was educated throughout the Boston Public School system. Joe worked as a Laborer for several years with several construction companies in the Boston area.

Joe is the beloved husband of 50 years to Jeanne M. (Herlihy) Houlihan. He is the devoted father of Joseph Houlihan, James Houlihan and his companion Melinda Morrissey, Jeff Houlihan and the late Brian Houlihan. He is the loving Grandfather to Joseph, Colin, Aidan and Joshua. He is the beloved brother of Ann Marie Houlihan, John Houlihan and his wife Ellen and James Houlihan and his wife Alice. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Joe's Funeral Services and burial will be private.
