Obituary

Joseph C. "Joe" Lynch Jr., an 8 year resident of Saugus and former longtime resident of Charlestown, died on Thursday January 3, 2008 at The Kaplan Family Hospice House in Danvers after a courageous battle with cancer. He was 55 years old.

Joe was born in Boston on December 3, 1952. He grew up in Charlestown where he attended Boston Public Schools and graduated from Charlestown High School in 1971. Joe worked at Massachusetts Water Resource Authority for over 20 years as a laborer. He enjoyed golfing and spending time with his sisters, brother and nephew.

Joe's Funeral Service will be held on Monday January 7, 2008 at 10 a.m. in The Carr Funeral Home, 1159 Main St. Melrose. Relatives and friends are invited. Visiting hours for Joe will be on Sunday January 6, 2008 from 2 to 6 p.m. Burial will take place at Holy Cross Cemetery, Malden.
