Obituary

Karla M. (Auch) Orpen, a 6 year resident of Medford and formerly of Charlestown, entered into eternal life on Wednesday, September 14, 2016 at the Kaplan Family Hospice House in Danvers. She was 59 years of age.

Karla was born in Boston on January 16, 1957, a daughter of the late Bernard Auch and Joan (Eliopoulos) Auch. She grew up in Charlestown where she was educated in the Boston Public School system. Karla worked for over 25 years as a Medical Secretary. She loved taking trips down to Foxwoods.

Karla is the devoted mother of Angela Buglo, Donald Orpen, Loren Orpen, and Ashley Orpen. She is the loving Nana of 6 grandchildren. Karla is the beloved sister of Ronnie Tamburello, Debbie Rodriguez, Denise Snelders, Bernie Auch, and the late Karen Auch. She is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend Karla's Visiting Hours on Sunday, September 18, 2016 from 2 P.M. to 6 P.M. with her Funeral Service at 5:30 P.M. in The Carr Funeral Home 220 Bunker Hill St. CHARLESTOWN. Her burial will be private.
