Obituary

Katherine P. Kennedy, a lifelong resident of Charlestown and former resident of Winthrop Street, died on Friday, June 10, 2011 at Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston following a lengthy illness. She was 82 years old.

Katherine is the beloved daughter of the late James and Theresa (Monagle) Kennedy. She is the devoted sister of the late John T. Kennedy and Paul L. Kennedy.

Katherine is a retired Clerk for the Commonwealth of Massachusetts Department of Revenue.


Relatives and friends are invited to attend visiting hours for Katherine on Wednesday morning, June 15, 2011 from 9 a.m. to 10 a.m. followed by her Funeral Service at 10 a.m. in The Carr Funeral Home, 220 Bunker Hill St. Charlestown. Interment will be at Holy Cross Cemetery in Malden.
