Obituary

Katherine E. Pugliese, a lifelong resident of Charlestown, entered into eternal life on Monday, May 14, 2018 at Massachusetts General Hospital in Boston. She was 70 years of age.

Katherine was born in Boston on April 15, 1948, a daughter of the late Robert Pugliese and Mildred F. (Roberts) Pugliese. She grew up in Charlestown where she was educated in the Boston Public School system. Katherine was a homemaker most of her adult life caring for her children and grandchildren. She enjoyed playing bingo and doing arts and crafts. Katherine was always looking out for her family and friends and was always willing to help her neighbors in time of need.

Katherine is the devoted mother of Charles Daniel Pugliese, Lisa M. Pugliese, Tamrae Egan and her husband Allan and Hope McGee and her husband Robert. She is the loving G-Ma and Nana to Brandi, Amber, Charley, Crystal, Michael, Robert Jr., Jessica, Ryan, Tyler, Collin and her great-grandson Noah. She is the beloved sister of Frank Pugliese and the late Mildred Lynch, Bobby Pugliese, Dennis Pugliese and Billy Pugliese. She is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend Katherine's Funeral Mass at St. Joseph's Church, 68 Cardinal O'Connell Way in the West End of Boston at a day and time to be announced.
