Obituary

Kathryn (Liu) Pan, a 41 year resident of Swampscott, passed into eternal life on Monday, April 30, 2012 at Salem Hospital following an extended illness. She was 81 years old.

Kathryn was born in Shanghai, China on June 28, 1930. She grew up in Shanghai, China where she attended a private high school and graduated from college. Kathryn worked for many years as a Processing Supervisor at Wausau Insurance Company in Burlington and was highly regarded as an esteemed mentor by her colleagues.

Kathryn is the beloved wife of 54 years to Liddell Pan. She is the devoted mother of Neri Pan and his wife Patricia of Carmel, Indiana, Dr. Nelson Pan and his wife Dr. Debra Pan of Melrose, Nillson Pan and his wife Carol of Belmont, California and Atty. Hiram Pan and his wife Susan of Scituate. She is the loving Grammy to Jacqueline, Alexander, Jeffrey, Jason, Katelyn and Olivia. She is the beloved sister of the late Raymond Liu.

Kathryn's Funeral Services and interment were held privately.
