Obituary

Laurie A. Cahill, a 12 year resident of Manchester, New Hampshire and formerly of Charlestown, passed into eternal life on Saturday, November 10, 2012 following a lengthy illness. She was 50 years old.

Laurie was born in Boston on March 16, 1962, a daughter of the late William "Bo" Cahill and Jean (Donovan) Cahill. Laurie grew up in Charlestown where she attended the Boston Public School system. She worked for several years in the health benefits department for the Carpenters Union and also several years in the investment division for Fidelity Investments.

Laurie is the devoted mother of Sidney McComiskey and his wife Jennifer and Private William Allen, United States Marine Corps. She is the loving grandmother of Liam McComiskey. She is the beloved sister of William Cahill, Robert Cahill, Edward Cahill and Sharon Harrington.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend visiting hours for Laurie on Saturday, November 17, 2012 from 1:30 to 5:30 p.m. followed by her Funeral Service at 5:30 p.m. in The Carr Funeral Home, 220 Bunker Hill St. Charlestown. Interment is private.
